Why we exist
Curiosity is the one input with no ceiling.
AI is changing work faster than schools can adapt. The real risk isn't that AI replaces people. It's that people who never learn to work with AI get left behind.
We exist to prepare students for a world built alongside AI. That means three things, held together:
- Genuine AI fluency.
- Not surface familiarity with a chatbot, but real skill in directing, questioning and collaborating with AI tools.
- Stronger human capacities.
- Empathy, communication, critical thinking and ethical judgement. These are what set people apart when AI can produce almost anything.
- An entrepreneurial spirit.
- More of tomorrow's work will be self-directed. Every student should learn to spot a problem and build something that solves it.
A student fluent in AI but weak in judgement isn't ready. Neither is one with strong human instincts and no command of the tools that will shape their working life. The Infinity Lab is built to develop both.
The challenge we're solving
Schools still measure what students know. The world now rewards what they can do with it.
Most students graduate judged on what they can recall and prove on a test. That measure was built for a time when knowledge was scarce. Today, AI can produce an answer to almost anything in seconds.
What matters now is whether a student can ask a good question, point a powerful tool at a real problem, judge what comes back, and add something distinctly human to the result. Many AI tools work against this. By default, they hand students the answer, and the thinking stops.
The impact we want to create
A generation that graduates not just informed, but ready.
We want to change what "ready for the future" means. We want every student who comes through The Infinity Lab to be evidence of what AI fluency and future-ready skills look like when they are taught and assessed properly.
Our mission is to make this kind of education scalable and accessible to 100 million students worldwide. We are a for-profit, mission-driven company, because a sustainable business is what lets a mission grow. One commitment stays fixed as we scale: access to this education should never depend on which school a student attends or what their family can pay.
Our founder
The Infinity Lab was founded by Stanley Chia, an education technology entrepreneur who has spent more than a decade building and scaling international education businesses. As co-founder of Cialfo, he helped grow an AI-enabled college guidance platform used by more than 2,000 schools in over 105 countries. He started The Infinity Lab to give every student a place to turn curiosity into real-world skills.
